Sunday School Leaflet
Children are welcomed and valued as part of our church family. Because of this our Sunday School takes place during the Sunday morning service and everyone no matter how young or old, meets together for the first part of the Service. We worship God together by joining in the songs led by the worship group, praying and sharing.
Then everyone in the church learns about Jesus and God in a way which is suitable for their age group. The adults stay in the main hall and the children go out into three separate classes (Buds, Shoots and Climbers). Which class you are in depends on your school year.

Kids Klub
Our pre-school group are looked after by Stef and Brenda. They have fun with structured play and
simple stories, songs and crafts. They have their own safe space where they can move around freely,
play, dance and take part in the activities. Finger puppets, pictures and toys help them to listen and
understand the stories and songs.
Our Reception-Y4 group are looked after by Julie and Ruth. They have a great time with stories and songs,
crafts and games. They begin to learn to use the Bible and pray. They often display their crafts in
church so that everyone can see what a good time they've had. They use puppets in stories and activities
Our Y5-Y10 age group are looked after by Jan and Lucy. They enjoy activities such as watching DVDs, crafts,
games drama and reading the Bible. In summer they sometimes go outside to have Sunday School which includes
playing games, having picnics and doing 'messy' experiments. 
They also make short films which are shown to the church to tell a story or advertise an event.
