070707 Our 070707 weekend was a fantastic time for everyone involved. The fellowship had a great time and we hope all the people from the other Rochdale churches and the community did too.

The weekend began on Friday with the erection of the tent and the setting up of the PA and music equipment. Our resident 'techies' Wayne and Ruth (she's got an A level in Theatre Studies you know) set up the speakers and mixers and Adam put the drums together. Praying for the weekend Scary! Some of us then met to pray for the weekend, the activities and the weather! Whilst back at home the face painters were having a last practice.
Then the setting up carried on into the night, with Wayne, Andy and Adam sleeping in the tent overnight as security.

On the day itself we were thrilled to see 109 children come to our Kids Klub to sing songs, listen to stories and watch our puppets. Then it was time for the stalls, games and bouncy castles! Lucy tells a story

In the evening we had a fantastic celebration and Barry Woodward shared his life story with us as the Northwest launch of his new book.
